FF PLAYER

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how FF PLAYER collects and uses data in the Android TV and Fire TV application.

Last updated: 06/10/2026

Data Collected

  • Device identifier generated by the application.
  • MAC address or device-derived identifier used for activation.
  • Device model, manufacturer, operating system version, and platform.
  • Application version.
  • Device activation token.
  • Usage metrics such as session start, heartbeat, loading time, and technical errors.
  • Playback progress, including content ID, position, and duration.
  • Favorites and pending synchronization operations.
  • IP address implicitly used when connecting to FF PLAYER servers.

Purpose

Data is used to activate the device, synchronize catalog data, favorites and playback progress, keep the session authenticated, diagnose failures, and improve application stability.

Sharing

FF PLAYER does not sell personal data. Data is sent only to FF PLAYER servers required to operate the service.

Storage and Security

Production API communications must use HTTPS. Device tokens are stored locally with EncryptedSharedPreferences when supported by the system; on older devices without support, the app uses private application storage as a fallback.

Retention

Device data is kept while the activation or linked account remains active. Diagnostic data may be retained for the time necessary for security, support, and service improvement.

User Rights

Users may request deletion or review of their data by contacting FF PLAYER support. Deactivating a device stops new synchronizations associated with it.
